Privacy Policy for MAD Mobile App

1. Information We Collect

The MAD Mobile App is designed primarily as an application for the Miniature Agnostic Duels tabletop system. We do not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as their name, email address, phone number, or mailing address in order to use the App.

The App may allow users to create and save game-related information, such as: character names; character selections and configurations; factions, abilities, feats, items, and other game selections; character portraits or images selected by the user; and gameplay-related settings and preferences.

Unless otherwise stated within the App, this information is stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to ROTN Development Studios.

2. Photos and Images

The App may allow users to select or provide images for use as character portraits or other game-related content. Images selected by the user are used only for the functionality requested by the user. ROTN Development Studios does not use these images for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. Where images are stored locally by the App, they remain on the user's device unless the user independently backs up, transfers, or shares that data through another service.

3. Device Permissions

The App may request access to certain device features when necessary to provide App functionality, such as access to photos, media, files, or similar storage features. Permissions are used only for the functionality for which they are requested. Users may manage App permissions through their device settings.

4. Information Sharing

ROTN Development Studios does not sell or rent users' personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Information may be disclosed if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on services or components provided by third parties, including services provided as part of the Android operating system or distribution through Google Play. Those third parties may process certain technical information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

The MAD Mobile App does not control the privacy practices of third-party platforms or services.

6. Advertising

The MAD Mobile App does not currently display third-party advertisements or use user information for targeted advertising.

If advertising functionality is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

7. Analytics and Tracking

ROTN Development Studios does not currently use the MAD Mobile App to intentionally track users across other applications or websites for advertising purposes.

If analytics, crash-reporting, or similar services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the information collected and how it is used.

8. Data Storage and Security

Game information and preferences generated within the App may be stored locally on the user's device.

We take reasonable measures to design the App in a manner that protects information under our control. However, no electronic storage system or software application can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and any device backups containing App data.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored locally by the MAD Mobile App may generally be removed by deleting the relevant information within the App, clearing the App's storage, or uninstalling the App.

Because ROTN Development Studios does not currently maintain user accounts or a remote database of user-created character information, we generally do not possess a server-side copy of locally stored user content to delete.

10. Children's Privacy

The MAD Mobile App is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 or any higher minimum age required by applicable local law.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the MAD Mobile App evolves or as legal, regulatory, or platform requirements change.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
